Chubb & Fry's Patent Safety Railway Carriages, securing direct communication between passengers, guard & engine driver whilst the train is in motion. 1866. Illustration shows train en route with passengers moving between carriages and guard moving from carriage to tender. Also a diagram of ground plan, with detail of couplings. Below is a written description of the invention and a letter drawing attention to the advantages offered, addressed, by hand, to George Mussey Packe Esq, M.P. and signed by Chubb and Fry. L.B. Bertram Sole Agent.
