Burst collection

Photographs, a collection of approximately 3, 470 silver gelatin prints, 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 ins in 28 albums. Mainly featuring posed views of locomotives from the constituent companies of the Southern Railway including the London Brighton & South Coast Railway, the South Eastern & Chatham Railway, the South Eastern Railway, the London Chatham & Dover Railway, the London & South Western Railway and the Isle of Wight Railway. Also the London & North Western Railway , the Great Northern Railway and light railways. c 1880 - 1940. Photographs compiled by A.
