'Shaman's Aroma-therapy Mini Dream Pillow', woven cotton pillow containing herbs, paper label 'Scents of America', distributed by Matchless Gifts, Laguna Niguel, CA, USA, 1996.

A large number of unconventional ‘healing’ methods appeared in the 1990s. This woven cotton pillow, containing herbs called ‘the scents of the Americas’, is known as ‘Shaman’s Aromatherapy Mini Dream Pillow’. The pillow was probably sold to help people sleep. A shaman is a priest or healer who is said to interact with natural and supernatural forces. The pillow was sold by Matchless Gifts.
