Box of 19 microscope slides made by Charles Ford and John Hamerton to determine the number of human chromosomes. The slides are Feulgen squashes of spermatocytes during spermatogenesis. Results of research were published in Nature (Vol 178, 10 Nov 1956, p1020-1023).
