Postcard, of poster, Great Northern Railway, Skegness is So Bracing.

The image on this postcard is a copy of the famous poster made by John Hassal in 1908. This design featuring the ‘Jolly Fisherman’ is still widely recognised today. Over the years the design has been tweaked, reinterpreted and redesigned, with many designs using the ‘Jolly Fisherman’ as a starting point.

T. Gass the driver, October 13th 1904.
