'Little Giant' mixed flow turbine double wheels, 6-inch diameter with sluice valves, two wrought iron components, and one wrought iron and glass component, patented by agent Simeon Howes, 64 Mark Lane, London, EC, England, made in Canada, 1901

This is an example of the "Little Giant "double turbine much used in America for driving farm and other machinery requiring small power. It is of the mixed flow type and is designed to work 'drowned' - that is, entirely underwater.
