Poster, London & North Eastern Railway, Giants Refreshed "Pacifics in the LNER Locomotive Works Doncaster" by Terence Cuneo, 1947. Coloured lithograph depicting two 4-6-2 Pacific locomotives being painted in the works, the A4 class 'Sir Ronald Matthews' and the newly completed A2/3 class 'Owen Tudor'. The LNER was nationalised at the end of 1947 so a version of the poster with a revised inscription was produced by British Railways. Printed by Waterlow & Sons Ltd., London & Dunstable.
