A Mexican Barbie Doll with dark brown skin, brown eyes, and long curly brown hair. She is wearing blue earrings, a red necklace, a white blouse with a red and blue floral pattern. She laso wears a blue ring and a multi-coloured belt, and a red satin-effect skirt with white lace trim.

Part of the Dolls of the World Collection, this doll originally came with red shoes, a stand, a veil and a hairbrush. The Dolls of the World series ran from 1980 to 2014, with several nationalities being revamped and released multiple times. Mexican versions of Barbie in this range were one of the most regularly released nationalities. This example was the first Mexican Barbie in the range, released in 1989. Subsequently, new versions of Mexican Barbie were released in 1996, 2012, and 2014. and a Princess of Ancient Mexico Doll (a sub-series of Dolls of the World) in 2001, and a Cinco de Mayo Barbie in a Mexican-inspired costume in 2006.
