Form Board 'A' by PA Management Consultants Ltd.
The Form Board ‘A’ consists of a blue hinged box. Wooden shapes are placed into it through corresponding holes. Objects such as this often formed the basis of psychometric tests. These were used for psychiatric evaluation in institutions such as schools and hospitals. They were also used within industry to look for employment aptitude. The box did not rely on a specific language. This meant this kind of test could be exported internationally and used by non-English speaking immigrants. The origins of this board are uncertain. However, the handwritten label indicates it was used by the B.P.S. This may refer to the British Psychological Society. The form board was made by PA Management Consultants Limited.
