Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI); originally designed by American Psychologist David Wechsler in 1963 and consisting of a battery of tests including arithmetic problems, geometric designs, mazes, block design and picture completion; includes British supplement; used by the Department of Psychology, Alder Hey Hospital, Liverpool, c. 1970-2000.
