High quality instrumentation tape recorder made by Precision Instruments of America which was purchased in 1966 for use at the Burden Neurological Institute by a grant from the Clement & Jessie V Stone Foundation of Chicago. It records eight channels of data, either low frequency (including DC) by frequency modulation, or high frequency (100 Hz to 100 KHz) by direct recording. Three recording speeds are available 0.375 inches/second, 3.75 ips and 37.5 ips. Recordings can be made at one speed and played back at another. Sockets enable outputs from the 8 or 16 channel EEG recorders to be taped and played back.
