Field surgical instrument kit, probably unused, made by Albert Stille, Stockholm, c.1900. The carry case contains a stainless steel sterilizing tin, a spare instrument case, and a case with 43 surgical instruments, two vials of catgut, 26 curved needles and nine safety pins.
