Lowenfeld kaleidoblocs, a test of an individual's ability to "devise a plan of action, carry it into operation in a reasoned manner, and persist in it until its end has been reached"; consisting of 24 wooden blocks of various shapes and painted in various colours in wooden box; originally designed by psychologist Margaret Lowenfeld at the Institute of Child Psychology, London, c. 1940-1960.
