Set of five 'Cleora' glass tubes fitted with electrodes and each coated internally with two different phosphors (half the tube length each), clipped into a wooden case (handle broken) also containing a transformer, apparently for demonstrating some of the colours that could be produced in sculptural electrical discharge lamps for architectural or advertising purposes, estimated date 1940-1959, plus an additional tube, a short mains lead and a box containing several phials of fluorescent powders.
