Wooden Cabinet of Crystal Form Models

Wooden cabinet with eight drawers (a further three recorded under Pt2) for set of model crystals illustrating Rome de l'Isle's Crystallographie (pub. 1783), unsigned, Europe, 1783-1850. The drawers are each divided into many sections, and the case itself has a lockable door and brass carrying handle. The eight drawers which remain with the object contain between them 296 model crystals.
