Crate containing two componets for gravity meter

One crate containing two components for Gravity meter by Cambridge Instrument Co., 1930. The larger component has a black-painted cylindrical box fixed to a rectangular bridge, with three cylindrical tubes attached onto it. Inside the rectangular bridge and one of the cylindrical tubes, the damping ring and balancing device are found. The smaller box-like component attaches to the larger component and houses part of its internal mechanisms. One side has a lens aligned toward an angled mirror, while another side contains a circular mechanism and a dial.
