Part of Milne-Shaw seismograph, 1937-1938. This component is a rectangular box, possibly cast iron, on the front there is a switch and a wire protruding out the front, this has writing on the front. There is an additional square element on the top of the box.

On the top of this there is a metalic element, which looks to be for making adjustments. On the base at the two ends and the corner there are also metalic elements which appear to be for making adjustments.
