Bygrave slide rule, Mark II

This is an example of a logarithmic slide rule designed by Captain L. C. Bygrave for solving spherical triangles in aerial navigation.

It employs the right-angled spherical triangle formulae and is capable of a comparatively high degree of accuracy. It is necessary in using this slide rule to note down an intermediate result, but as the operations are simple and quick it compares favorably with other methods.
