Rudder angle indicator and junction box, by S G Brown Limited, Watford, Hertfordshire, England, 1948-1951. The rudder angle indicator shows the position taken by the rudder and enables the helmsman to know that the rudder is responding to the wheel. It also shows the amount of rudder that has been applied by the After Power Unit which is operated by the Automatic Helmsman on the Bridge.
