Standard 24" scale by "Bryan Donkin" in oak case, engraved. Divided by B. Donkin from Sir Geo Shuckburgh's standard scale, being 0003 longer than standard "Brass bar is 7/16" thick, 1 11/16" wide, and 2' 1 5/16" long. The divisions all on a silver strap 5/32" wide let into the middle of the whole length, numbered from 0 to 24 and divided into tenths throughout. The scale is carried in an oak box 2'3" x 3 1/4" x 1 11/16" when closed
