Bedford TK 6 yard tipper truck, 1966, KGX 680D

This tipper truck, used by the Essex-based plant hire firm John Bentley Limited, is a typical example of a tipper vehicle used by a small excavation firm. This particular Bedford TK model was introduced in 1960 and showed the trend towards improved driver comfort, it was also one of the first forward control vehicles with the engine outside the cab.
