Component part of an eidograph, formerly the property of Prof. R. Willis. The component consists of a square wooden base which supports two horizontal wooden strips, which are held together by two vertical wooden rods, two diagonal wooden strips, and a metal rod in the centre. On either end of the two horizontal strips are metal points, the top two pointing down, and the bottom two pointing up.
