"Adix" adding machine (1905) in case

Adix' adding machine, c.1905, in case. Made by Pallweber and Bordt, the Adix Company of Mannheim, Germany. The 'Adix' is a particularly simple 9- key machine which can only be used to add columns of single digits. Because of this constraint it was not continued beyond 1906. It represents an early example of the use of aluminium.
