Pantograph, brass, longer bars twenty nine inches long, made by Wilkinson of Ormskirk with wooden case.

Pantograph by Wilkinson, late 18th century. The pantograph is an instrument that can be used to copy a drawing to the same size, to a larger size or to a smaller size. A stylus on one of the arms follows the line of the original whilst a pen or pencil on the other draws the copy.
