Wooden cash register made by Curt Friedel, Kontrollkassen-Fabrik, Radebeul-Dresden, Germany. With simple mechanical receipt paper printing system of some kind.

This simple wooden (possibly pine) shopkeepr's cash till was made by Curt Friedel, Kontrollkassen-Fabrik, Radebeul-Dresden, Germany. The till has a lock and a special pin mechanism for opening and closing the cash drawer. The till has a brass makers badge along with "Casse" (cash register in German) written in gold lettering on the front of the till, facing the customer. The cash drawer had multiple separate compartments for notes and coins. The till also had a simple mechanically operated paper roll system which kept daily input and output totals and was mounted in a metal frame.
