Print: The paternal House of Sr. Isaac Newton in which He was born the 25th. Day of Decr. 1642 at Woolsthorpe, Lincolnshire. S. Sparrow Sculp, after T. Tinkler, 1772. Engraving 15.5x18.5cm. Vignette with ribbon and foliage swag surround, depicting the farm homestead birthplace of Newton, with milking and agricultural implements; above centre, armillary sphere; below, two stanzas of poem: "Here Newton dawn'd, here lofty Wisdom woke ... The Sons of Science at this Dome must bend./All hail the Shrine! all hail the natal Day!..."
