TQL portrait of Sir Austin (wearing Museum warding uniform tie), seated in the East Hall in front of the flywheel of the cross-compound Lancashire textile mill engine of 1903; on the right is the 700 hp marine triple expansion engine; foreground left and right show details of Petroleum exhibits; also on the right is Mr. Herbert Lee, object cleaner, attending to the engines.
