Identified by Mr J F Flack (of the Patent Office) in 1903. - Ink inscription under image. - Pencilled on verso: attribution to engraver [W] Walker or his son, by Flack. -Portrait, TQL the subject seated looking to front, holding papers; sporting sideburns and bow tie; for many years erroneously attributed as an oil by Sibley.
