Bronze medal to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Royal Academy of Norway, by Kullrich and G. Loos, Europe, 1861. Diameter 42 mm, Obverse, Youth seated, holding cup from which a lion is drinking. Inscription, Ex Haustu Olympico Valentior, G. Loos d., Hullrich, f.

Reverse, Wreath of laurel leaves. Inscribed Academiae Regiae Norv. Fridericianae Sacra Semisecularia. D. II. Septbr. MDCCCLXI. The University pf Christiania (now Oslo) was founded in 1811 and Frederick Vi (1768-1839) was king of Demnark and Norway.
