Collection of engineering drawings from the Great Western Railway (GWR) Engineers Office, Paddington, c. 1837 - c.1867. 71 drawings, ink/ink and wash/printed, being plans of railway buildings and designs for railway machinery including cranes, switches, crossings, buffers, trucks etc. All bear stamp of GWR's Engineers Office, Paddington and a set number - 37243, 45448 or 45656. Many relate to the South Wales Railway; other railways are named. Most drawings bear engineer's name.
