[Engineering drawings (9): 500 nhp side-lever steam engines completed by Robert Napier & Co. for pioneer transatlantic steamer 'British Queen'. 1839. 9 sheets in cardboard folder (435 x 560mm); five drawings are dated 1839, four drawings bear initials 'EJB'. They are numbered 1-7, 9-10. All drawings have been sealed in Melinex. With three drawings, also sealed in Melinex, of steamships of the same date, one a 'dredging vessel' built by Miller & Ravenhill and fitted by Hunter & English.
