Coloured plaster model of woman's stomach showing effects of constriction by corseting, European, 1901-1925

This (A61204) is a model of a woman's stomach showing the effects of constriction by corseting. It is said to be a model of the stomach of a 40 year old and is made out of coloured plaster. The object next to it (A61203) is a model of a woman's trunk revealing internal organs that have been displaced by constriction of the waist due to tight corseting. This is also made out of coloured plaster and is said to be a model from the same woman. Both figures are European.
