Carved wooden male anatomical figure showing musculative and arterial system, right arm missing. Made in Switzerland, mid-18th century. Copy/variation of the full-scale statue produced by Jean-Antoine Houdon in Paris in 1767.
This wooden anatomical figure illustrates the muscular structure and arterial system. The male figure is leaning against the base of a tree and standing on a small platform. The figure was made in Switzerland and is missing the right arm.
