Trematode cyst-infected Pacific Treefrog (Hyla regilla) preserved in plastic, with supernumerary limbs, from La Pine, Deschutes County, Oregon. Prepared by Hartwick College, Oneonta, New York, 1998-1999. This 'category I' deformity (polymelia) is believed to be caused by the trematode cyst infection. The cartilage is stained blue and calcified bones in red (see note).
