Weight 91.70g. obverse: David Edward Hvghes b.16 May 1830 d. 19 Jan 1900; relief profile Head to R, initialled IHMF. reverse: relief eagle with ?thunderbolt; inscription in classical Greek. rim legend: Prof. George Paget Thomson, F.R.S. ; stamped GILT
