No. 10 Undulator Receiver, manufactured by Creed and Company Limited, Croydon, London, England, 1925

The undulator receiver was used to record incoming telegraph signals in the form of a wave. Although this was not as convenient as the printer, which automatically decoded the messages from punched tape, it was useful when signals were to distorted to use reperforators, since a skilled operator could still decode the message
