No. 7W/3 Reperforator, manufactured by Creed and Company Limited, Croydon, London, England, 1925
At the receiving end of an automatic telegraph circuit, a reperforator was used to produce a perforated tape from the signals, identical to that fed into the transmitter at the other end. This tape could then be fed into a printer which converted the punched back into standard characters, or into another transmitter for passing on further.
