One of two Sumerian solid cylindrical weights, barrel-shaped, pointed at both ends, of black polished haematite, c.B.C. 2200. Larger, 264.62 grains wt. = 2 shekels of the Babylonian "stater" of 132.31 grains. This is a double shekel marked "1" at one end.
