Official Standard Set of fifteen brass (ten spherical with knobs) Troy Weights of 1824. Made by R.B. Bate under Kater's direction, and deposited at the Exchequer. Consists of two Set of fifteen Weights each i.e. Standard and Counterpoise Sets. Each Set consists of :- 1 Pd. Troy 6.3.2.1.oz.T, 10.5.3.2.1.dwt, 12.6.3.2.1.grains. The Weights of the Counterpoise Set are marked either "Counterpoise" or just C.
