Locomotive engineering drawings from the Southern Railway and constituent companies (including London Brighton and South Coast Railway, London and South Western Railway, South Eastern Railway, London Chatham and Dover Railway, South East & Chatham Railway.) Drawings gathered together at Eastleigh Works after nationalisation and combined into one archive. Currently the only drawings available to readers comprise those from Eastleigh and Brighton relating to Bulleid pacific locomotives (Merchant Navy, Battle of Britain and West Country classes), which have been microfilmed.
