London & North Eastern Railway poster, The Broads, it's quicker by rail by Septimus Scott. [repro by Blakes Holidays 1996]. Depicts a scene on the Norfolk Broads, with three holidaymakers on the prow of a dinghy. A young red-headed woman in a sailor suit, leans from a rope and waves, while a blond man in a blue one-piece swimsuit is seated on the deck, with a young woman seated at the bow. Ahead are another dinghy and a cabin cruiser, with a windmill on the shore. Text reads "200 miles safe inland waterways" and "Holidays Afloat, £4 per week".
