Euro card converter for French Francs

French Franc to Euro converter issued by the Crédit Commercial de France, maker unknown, France,1997 (and dated). There is also a cardboard box that it was sent to the museum in alongside 2019-245 and E2002.210.2

This simple cardboard device is used to convert French Frrancs into Euros using the pre-fixation rate for the Euro of 6.66 FF. It was made in 1997 in anticipation of the introduction of the new currency. The Euro was officially adopted by eleven member states, including France, in 1999.
