High-power Singer micromanipulator in fitted wooden case with lock and key, made by the Singer Instrument Co. Ltd, 83 London St., Reading, Berkshire, and supplied to the Textile Physics Laboratory of the University of Leeds in August 1956, British Patent No. 653759, for use under magnifications of 100 to 1000 or more.
