An Act for making Wet Docks, Basons, Cuts, and other Works, for the greater Accomodation and Security of Shipping, Commerce, and Revenue within the Port of London [and] An Act for warehousing Goods within the Limits of certain Docks. 1800, 1804. [Printed by George Eyre and Andrew Strahan. 1 vol., pp. 905-975 & pp. 937-946. Latter act is pursuant to former. Former is prefaced by 'List of Subscribs. to the London Docks' (517 names, 8p. ms,) and 'List of the Directors of the London Dock Company for the Year 1803. The Office in Winchester Street' (1p. ms.) and suffixed by an index (9p. ms.). Latter is suffixed by an index (2p. ms.)]

These are the printed Acts allowing construction of wet docks and other works in the Port of London (1800) and building of warehouses (1804). They were enacted at a time of great change in the London docks and detail many of the developments made. They were added to the Museum’s Archive collection because of additional manuscript pages: ‘List of subscribers to the London Docks’ (8 pages); a ‘List of the Directors of the London Dock Company for the year 1803’; and indexes to both acts.
