Infant Audiometer, used by Dr Michele Clements in her studies of hearing in the unborn child, made by Phonic Ear, Denmark, c1970-1980.

Dr Michele Clements used this infant audiometer in her studies of the hearing of the unborn child. It is one of a several of items of equipment acquired by the Science Museum which were developed and used by Dr Clements at various London maternity hospitals. They represent a novel and personal approach to foetal monitoring.
