Binder filled with copies of drawings of plaques depicting early locomotives, which were mounted on various LMS "Royal Scot" class locomotives. The drawings are stamped "LM&SR Locomotive Drawing Office Derby 3 Feb. 1928". The plaques depict "Lancashire Witch", "Perseverance", "Sans Pareil", "Novelty", "Meteor", "Comet", "Liverpool", "Planet", "Phoenix", "Vulcan", "Atlas", "Sampson", "Goliath", "Vesta", "Fury", "Ajax", "Hector", "Caledonian", "Lion", "Mail", "Ostrich", "Condor", "Jenny Lind", "Courier", "Velocipede" and "Lady of the Lake."
