Cooke Reversible Transit Circle, manufactured by Cooke, Troughton & Simms Ltd, York c.1928 for the Royal Observatory, Greenwich. Used to measure positions of stars and planets at Greenwich (1933-post WWII), Herstmonceux (post WWII-1982) and Brorfelde Observatory, Denmark.
