Williamson Mk III Race Finish Camera

MK III Race Finish Camera, manufactured by the Williamson Manufacturing Company Limited, London.

The Race Finish Recording Company (now known as RaceTech) started in 1946, and developed a camera system for taking finish-line photographs to provide authoritative pictures of winning horses at the races. The camera contained a reel of photgraphic film that moved continuously, resulting in the strange lines and distorted images.
