Model of section of the Weaire-Phelan structure which is the most efficient way known of packing bubbles of equal volume. It is a smaller copy of a sculpture at Trinity College Dublin. The research at TCD which led to the formation of this theory, helped inform the design of the 'Water Cube', the National Swimming Centre being constructed in Beijing for the Olympic Games 2008.
