Adjustable leather cap, used during Ayurvedic Shirovasthi therapy, manufactured by The Arya Vaidya Pharmacy Ltd, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, c2005.
An adjustable leather cap used to keep in place warm medicated oil that is poured onto the top of the head during Ayurvedic shirovasthi therapy. This treatment is used for many health problems including headaches, facial paralysis and reducing hair loss.
